Feature Friday-- Woodland Floral Details

Today, we're taking a closer look at some of the floral details from the Woodland Shoot. As you probably know by now, Amanda of Branches Event Floral, is the mastermind behind these gorgeous & out-of-the-box florals. She's also responsible for the lovely bridal headpiece, mantle decor & live snails! That's one of the things I love about working with Amanda-- she'll go to great lengths to bring the WOW factor to every event & photo shoot. The unique birch pole centerpiece was simply stunning and the charming bouquet was equally incredible. I've been lucky enough to partner with Amanda on quite a few collaborative photo shoots & she never ceases to amaze me with what she creates. If you're in the market for event floral, give Amanda a call or check out the Branches website & blog-- you'll be glad you did!

Feature Friday-- Woodland Invite Details

As promised we're bringing you some up-close details from our most recent photo shoot. Today we're focusing on the invitation. Created with a very whimsical approach, this invite combines freshly designed toadstool & snail graphics with one of our adorable new woodgrain pocket options. The woodgrain pockets come in both this color (which has an ink rub added) & a deeper brown as well. There are so many great ways to incorporate the woodgrain pocket-- they'd look fabulous with all sorts of invite designs & styles. The actual invite & insert cards were printed with a burlap pattern background to add a bit more rustic flair. The finished product was then wrapped and tied with a customized birch tag (another great new product we offer). Whimsical, rustic & all sorts of fun, wouldn't you say?!

Feature Friday-- Woodland Wonder Photo Shoot

I have so many exciting new designs to share with you, but first I've got to show what we've been up to! As I mentioned in the previous post, the ever-talented Amanda of Branches Event Floral & I have put our minds together once again to bring you some fabulous Fall flavor, minus the cliche! We are looking forward to having this shoot featured nationally in the coming weeks-- hooray! If you know me, you know I've had a Woodland obsession since I was young, so it was ridiculously fun to work with this concept for a wedding. These incredible images were captured by two insanely talented ladies-- Camilla of Camilla Photography and Brienne of Azure B Photography. Also, make sure you check out all the fabulous local vendors who helped make this shoot a reality! We highly recommend all vendors on this list, so if you're planning a wedding these companies are ones you'll definitely want to look into. Without further adieu, we bring you Woodland Wonder...

Feature Friday-- Retro Mod Invite

A few months back, I designed this fun little number for a Retro Travel themed photo shoot, put together by Kimberly of Chic Design Studios. The color scheme of yellow, green, grey, black & white was unique and perfect for the theme. I did a Save the Date postcard + pocket style invite with a patterned band wrap & tag for the outside + matching thank you cards-- so fun! Hopefully I'll be able to post a link to the full shoot soon, so that you can check out the lovely little details, but for now enjoy this...

In the Details: Invite, insert, thank you card, tag on smooth matte stock. Save the Date postcard in smooth semi-gloss finish.
Pricing: Group A + black pocket card + patterned backing card + insert + patterned band wrap + tag + thank you card + Save The Date postcard.

Feature Friday-- Blissful Invite (Vintage Version)

This fun, yet simple invite was the perfect solution for Austin & Lauren's Chic Vintage-inspired wedding. The soft, creamy color palette added all sorts of charm to this design. Tea Length invitations are great because they're cost effective for both printing & mailing, plus they offer a change of pace from the typical 5x7. Happy Friday, enjoy!

I've said it before & I'll say it again... seal 'n send cards are GREAT for the the practical yet stylish bride-- they're easy to send out since they fold in to make their own envelope, plus when your guests receive them, it's like they're opening a present! So fun, right?
